OwnAway can send you SMS text messages about your account and maintenance activity. Use the form below to enroll or unenroll a mobile number, and read the full program terms underneath.
OwnAway SMS program terms
Program description
When you opt in, OwnAway sends recurring account and service text messages — for example, maintenance-request updates, appointment reminders, and important account notifications. These are transactional and account-related messages, not marketing.
How to opt in
You can enroll by submitting the form above with your consent, by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts during sign-up or in your account settings, or by replying START to a OwnAway message. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided.
Tenants at properties managed through OwnAway may receive our number from their property manager’s lease or move-in materials, or from a notice posted in their building, and can text START to enroll. See a sample of these materials on our SMS consent evidence page.
How to opt out
You can unenroll at any time by submitting the form above, by replying STOP to any OwnAway text message, or by contacting us. After you opt out, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS to that number, except as needed to process your opt-out.

Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the requests you and your tenants or vendors submit.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan. OwnAway does not charge for the messages themselves.
Carriers & delivery
Supported carriers may change, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile information is used only to deliver the messages you requested and to operate the Service.
